The Denso 428000-2920 is a 12-volt offset gear reduction (OSGR) starter motor rated at 2.7 kW output. It features a clockwise rotation 10-tooth pinion and two-hole mounting flange. Designed as original equipment for Cummins QSB4.5 and QSB6.7 Tier III diesel engines, it provides reliable cold-cranking torque in construction machinery applications.

This unit replaces Cummins OEM part number 3971615 and JLG Industries part number 70020352. The Denso manufacturer part numbers include 428000-2920, 428080-2920, and the abbreviated 428000-292.
