The Mercury Black Max 854342A45 is a three-blade right-hand rotation aluminum propeller designed for Mercury and Mariner outboard engines ranging from 40 HP through 125 HP. It features a 14-inch diameter and 10-inch pitch configuration. The propeller is cast from Mercury's patented Mercalloy aluminum alloy, providing a balance of strength and ductility for impact resistance. It includes a Phantom Black high-gloss corrosion-resistant finish. The unit utilizes a 15-tooth spline hub interface compatible with Flo-Torq II hub kits (typically 835257K1) for installation on Mercury 4.25-inch gearcases. This propeller supersedes part number 854342ARA. It is also referenced under the Quicksilver brand as BLMX 14R10. Aftermarket cross-references include Michigan Match 031061. Suitable for planing hulls and pontoon applications requiring strong low-end lift and acceleration.
