The Bosch 0414720313 is a PDE/UIS (Pumpe-Düse-Einheit / Unit Injector System) diesel fuel injector designed for Volkswagen Group 1.9 TDI engines. This pump-nozzle unit combines the high-pressure pump and injector nozzle into a single component actuated by the engine camshaft, delivering precise fuel metering and high injection pressures up to 2,050 bar. The injector features a multi-hole nozzle design for optimized fuel atomization, electronically controlled by the engine ECU for pilot, main, and post-injection events. Each unit carries a 6-digit calibration code (IMA code) for ECU matching. The assembly includes copper sealing ring and Viton O-ring for high-pressure sealing. Remanufactured units undergo complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, component replacement, and test bench validation to OEM specifications including leakage, spray pattern, and injection quantity tests.
