This in-line strainer features a 1/2 inch Female NPT thread connection for direct pipeline installation. The filtration element utilizes a 40 mesh (approx. 380 micron) 304 stainless steel screen designed to capture particulate matter while maintaining flow capacity for diaphragm and centrifugal pumps. The housing is typically constructed from glass-filled polypropylene or nylon with a clear polycarbonate or nylon bowl for visual inspection of contamination buildup. Sealing is achieved via Buna-N or EPDM gaskets. The unit is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI (10.3 bar) at 70°F (21°C) for plastic body variants.
