Caterpillar 162-4695 Center Swivel Joint Assembly

The center swivel joint, also known as a rotary manifold or collector, is the hydraulic gateway between the excavator's rotating upper structure and stationary undercarriage. It consists of a stationary inner shaft bolted to the lower carbody and a rotating outer housing bolted to the upper frame. Multiple concentric oil channels allow continuous hydraulic flow to track motors, swing motor, and attachments during 360-degree rotation. Designed for Caterpillar 312/E312 series excavators including E312B, 312C, 312D, and 312E models.
