Honeywell 1GP4004 Speed Sensor Assembly

The Honeywell 1GP4004 is a Hall effect digital speed sensor module designed for gear tooth detection in heavy-duty industrial environments. It operates on a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 24V DC with a typical supply current of 10mA. The sensor provides a digital output frequency range of 2Hz to 25kHz across an operating air gap of 0.13mm to 2.03mm. The housing is a threaded aluminum barrel measuring 14.9mm in diameter, rated for continuous operation from -40°C to 150°C. The unit features an integrated connector termination and is designed to sense ferrous metal targets. This sensor serves as a direct replacement for Caterpillar OEM part numbers 238-4676 and 1139903.
