FoxKits 4-Size U-Seal Rod Installation Tool Kit

This tool kit contains four installation tools sized Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large for installing flexible rod U-seals and U-cups into hydraulic cylinders. The tools bend the seal to a kidney-bean shape allowing passage through gland openings without damage. The kit covers a wide range of rod diameters and seal cross-sections common in industrial and mobile hydraulic equipment. Small tool fits rod diameters 3/4 inch (19 mm) and up with a maximum seal cross-section of 3/16 inch (4.76 mm). Medium tool fits rod diameters 1-1/4 inch (31.75 mm) and up with a maximum seal cross-section of 1/4 inch (6.35 mm). Large tool fits rod diameters 2 inches (50.8 mm) and up with a maximum seal cross-section of 3/8 inch (9.53 mm). X-Large tool fits rod diameters 2-3/4 inches (69.85 mm) and up with a maximum seal cross-section of 11/16 inch (17.46 mm). All tools are constructed from hardened stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. Supplied in a fitted plastic case with a latching cover for organized storage and transport.
