The receiver drier functions as a filtering unit on the high-pressure side of the air conditioning loop between the condenser and expansion valve. It contains desiccant to absorb moisture and a filter screen to trap debris, protecting the compressor and expansion device from contamination. Constructed from aluminum with pad-type inlet and outlet fittings. Designed for R134a refrigerant systems. Features two 3/8-24 UNF ports for pressure switches or service valves.
