The 447916A1 viscous fan clutch assembly is engineered for the engine cooling systems of Case IH Magnum MX series and New Holland TG series row-crop tractors. It utilizes a bimetallic thermal actuator to modulate fan speed based on coolant temperature, reducing parasitic engine load during cool conditions and maximizing airflow under high thermal stress.
