Cummins 4921601 Crankshaft Position Sensor

The Cummins 4921601 crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is a Hall-effect magnetic sensor designed to monitor crankshaft rotational speed and position. It provides critical timing signals to the engine control module (ECM) for fuel injection synchronization and ignition timing on 24-valve 5.9L platforms. This sensor features a 3-pin female connector interface and mounts directly to the front gear housing adjacent to the crankshaft tone wheel. It supersedes Cummins OEM part numbers 3941966, 3943409, and 4002066. The sensor housing is sealed to IP67 standard for dust and water ingress protection in harsh under-hood and off-highway environments. Compatible with 24V electrical systems found in heavy-duty truck and industrial applications.
