Generac 7101 Battery Heater Pad

The Generac 7101 is an OEM battery heater pad designed for 9kW to 22kW air-cooled standby generator sets manufactured from 2008 to present. It operates at 240V AC with a power rating of 40W and a current draw of 0.17A. The pad is thermostatically controlled to activate automatically when ambient temperature drops below the set threshold, maintaining optimal battery temperature for cold cranking performance. This component rests directly under the battery and is not required for AGM-type batteries. Installation requires the generator oil to be replaced with 5W-30 synthetic oil when deploying cold weather accessories. The kit includes the heating pad and necessary mounting hardware. It is a direct replacement for Generac part numbers 7101 and G0071010.
