The Honda GX270 series is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke OHV gasoline engine with 270 cc displacement. The UT2PA2 and UT2XQA2 variants feature a threaded 1-inch diameter by 3-1/2-inch length crankshaft for direct pump or implement mounting. The engine delivers 6.3 kW (8.4 hp) net power at 3600 RPM per SAE J1349. It incorporates digital CDI ignition with variable timing, forced air cooling, and Oil Alert low-oil shutdown protection. The cylinder bore is 77 mm with 58 mm stroke, compression ratio 8.5:1. Fuel tank capacity is 5.3 liters. Oil capacity is 1.1 liters.
