SeaStar Solutions HH4314-3 Hydraulic Steering Helm Pump

The SeaStar Solutions HH4314-3 BayStar helm pump is a front-mount hydraulic steering unit designed for single-outboard vessels rated up to 150 horsepower. It features a displacement of 1.4 cubic inches (22.9 cc) per revolution, delivering approximately 5.5 turns lock-to-lock. The unit mounts via four studs and accepts a standard 3/4-inch tapered steering shaft with a 5/8-18 UNF threaded end. It incorporates a built-in lock valve, relief valve, and replaceable shaft seal. The helm supersedes previous BayStar models HH4314, HH4514, and HH4016; replacement of HH4016 requires drilling new mounting holes due to the four-stud pattern versus three. Constructed from aluminum alloy, the pump operates at a maximum pressure of 2.5 MPa (363 psi) and utilizes adjustable O-ring boss (ORB) hose fittings for simplified routing. It meets ABYC and NMMA certification standards. Compatible seal kit is HP6032.
