First Flagship Bosch Car Service Workshop for Asia Pacific Opens in China

December 3rd, Beijing - Bosch, the leading global supplier of automotive technology, celebrates the grand opening of the Bosch Car Service Beijing workshop. It is the company's first flagship workshop in the Bosch Car Service network in the Asia Pacific region. The new Bosch Car Service Beijing workshop is a continuous commitment of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in China.

One-stop Professional and Reliable Car Services

Located in Beijing's Economic Technological Development Area, the 2,900 m2 location encompasses a 1,600 m2 workshop area equipped with 23 working bays, a 300 m2 customer area and a two-floor office area. The location will be staffed by 45 professionals including a technical team and a customer service team. As part of the Bosch Car Service network in China, this new workshop in Beijing models one-stop professional and reliable car services for all brands, including engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension and wheel alignment, body work repairs, car painting and car grooming.

Data-based Repair and Maintenance Service

Bosch Car Service Beijing workshop provides unique repair and maintenance services based on electronic diagnosis-procedures. Examples of these advanced auto repair and maintenance technology and diagnostic equipments include the Bosch FSA740 Engine Analyzer for engine analysis, the latest Bosch 3D wheel alignment equipment for the most accurate tire placement, the Bosch Service Diagnose Line (SDL) for comprehensive brake and suspension analysis, etc. All technologies enable service professionals to obtain an accurate and detailed diagnosis data about each vehicle while allowing also a highly efficient and outmost reliable workshop process.

Highly Standardized Procedures

Besides accurate data, strict and standardized procedures to guarantee high-quality car service are another distinctive focus of Bosch Car Service Beijing. For example, a basic maintenance service will last no more than 45 minutes; incorporating 4 steps with 48 procedures and 72 data measurements and examinations allowing a systemic and structured process. Also, all services will be conducted with detailed and improved traceable records.

In line with the Bosch Car Service standards, vehicles maintained and serviced are equipped with Bosch products and other trusted brands. As one of the earliest members to provide car repair and maintenance services in China, Bosch has established nearly 1,300 Bosch Car Service workshops nationwide. By the end of 2015, more than 2,000 Bosch Car Service workshops are expected to serve an increasing number of car owners in China.
