This coolant thermostat regulates engine operating temperature for MAN D20 and D26 series diesel engines. Designed as a map-controlled (Thermot-tronik) unit with integrated heating element and position sensor for precise thermal management under varying load conditions. The wax-element cartridge opens at 87°C ensuring optimal coolant flow. Flanged housing design allows direct mounting to engine block coolant outlet. Constructed with high-temperature resistant polymer housing and stainless steel valve components for corrosion resistance and long service life in heavy duty commercial vehicle applications.
