09.26.2013 - Chengdu – Bosch, a leading global supplier of automotive technology and services, celebrates the grand opening of the Bosch Car Service Chengdu workshop located in the Chengdu Qingyang Industrial Park. Besides the existing flagship workshop in Beijing, Bosch is now able to offer one-stop professional and reliable services also to car drivers in Chengdu and Western China.

The 1,250 m2 location encompasses a 1,000 m2 workshop area equipped with 12 working bays and a team of 32 professionals. As part of the Bosch Car Service network in China, the new workshop in Chengdu models one-stop professional and reliable car services, including engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension and wheel alignment, body work repairs, car painting and car grooming. “Bosch’s experience in automotive technology for more than 125 years makes Bosch Car Service Chengdu workshop capable of serving multiple car brands and models. We are confident that the car drivers will appreciate the quality spare parts, car maintenance and repair solutions,” said Per Rasmussen, Director of Flagship Bosch Car Service Workshop.
Data-based and standardized car service
Bosch Car Service Chengdu offers advanced competencies in diagnostics to improve the accuracy in identifying faults within a vehicle. With Bosch’s advanced diagnostic equipments and technology including the latest Bosch 3D wheel alignment equipment and Bosch FSA740 Engine Analyzer, Bosch car technicians make well-informed repair and maintenance work based on accurate data. Paired with strict and standardized procedures to guarantee high-quality car service, all services are conducted with detailed and traceable records.
Eco-friendly car repair and maintenance reduces carbon footprint
As a socially responsible company, Bosch made special effort to ensure energy-saving and eco-friendly considerations are taken in the design and construction of the new Bosch Car Service Chengdu workshop. Safe materials and energy-efficient equipment in the workshop improve resource utilization and reduce the impact on environment. Various eco-friendly measures are also implemented for the treatment of waste water and exhaust gas generated from daily repair and maintenance work. Strengthening Bosch Car Service network development in West China
Since its introduction to China in 2001, the Bosch Car Service network has set up more than 1,400 workshops all over the country, with over 300 workshops located in the western region. “We have always been committed to sharing our experience and know-how with our business partners, to better serve local car drivers. With the new Chengdu workshop and a territorial sales office based in Chengdu, Bosch is set to be closer to the Western market, and better support the development of Bosch Car Service network in Western China,” said Daniel-siu-wo Cheng.
