The ZF 0501219848 is a two-position five-way (5/2) pneumatic directional control valve designed for the splitter group (range/split) actuation in ZF 16S series 16-speed manual transmissions. It utilizes compressed air to switch the front splitter cylinder between direct and reduction gear positions, enabling half-gear shifts across the 16-speed range.
