The 24100J11943F1 swing reduction gearbox is a critical component of the upper structure slewing system for Kobelco compact excavators. It converts high-speed, low-torque hydraulic motor output into low-speed, high-torque rotation to drive the swing pinion against the swing bearing. Constructed from hardened alloy steel, the unit integrates a multi-stage planetary gear train designed for continuous duty in construction environments. The gearbox housing incorporates precision-machined mounting flanges for direct attachment to the swing frame and motor.
