National 38X55X7 Rotary Shaft Seal TC

The National 38X55X7 is a metric TC profile rotary shaft seal engineered with a rubber-covered outer diameter and dual sealing lips. The primary lip retains lubricants while the auxiliary dust lip excludes external contaminants. A carbon steel garter spring maintains constant radial load on the shaft. The metal case provides structural rigidity for press-fit installation into housing bores per ISO 6194-1 tolerances. Constructed from NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) with a carbon steel case and spring, this seal operates effectively in mineral oils and greases within a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C. It is rated for low-pressure applications up to 0.3 bar and surface speeds up to 10 m/s. The dimension set 38 mm shaft diameter, 55 mm bore diameter, and 7 mm width conforms to DIN 3760 Type TC standards for general industrial, automotive, and heavy machinery rotating equipment.
