Hitachi 4066695 Floating Oil Seal Assembly

This floating oil seal group is engineered for final drive and travel motor applications on Hitachi hydraulic excavators. The assembly consists of two precision-lapped metal seal rings mounted face-to-face with dual elastomeric torque rings providing axial loading and static sealing. The metal rings are manufactured from bearing steel 100Cr6 or alloy cast iron 15Cr3Mo, heat-treated to 58-72 HRC for abrasion resistance. Elastomer options include NBR, HNBR, FKM, and silicone, operating from -50°C to 200°C. The seal accommodates misalignment and shaft runout while maintaining sealing integrity under high pressure and contaminated environments. Direct replacement for Hitachi OEM 4066695, designed for 328 mm outer diameter, 298 mm inner diameter, and 21 mm width.
