Komatsu 706-7G-01180 Swing Motor Assembly

The 706-7G-01180 is a complete hydraulic swing motor assembly designed for Komatsu PC228US-8 and PC228USLC-8 hydraulic excavators. This unit integrates a radial piston hydraulic motor (Kawasaki M5X130 series) with a planetary reduction gearbox and a spring-applied hydraulic-release multi-disc parking brake. It delivers the high torque required for stable slewing operation in 20-to-24 ton class machines. Constructed from high-strength cast iron housing and alloy steel internal gears, the assembly is built to withstand continuous high-pressure hydraulic cycles and shock loads typical in excavation duty. The motor displacement is approximately 130 cc/rev, operating at a maximum system pressure of 34.3 MPa. The reduction ratio provides an output speed of approximately 10.5 rpm.
