The Parker Racor CCV55274-08 is a high-efficiency replacement filter element designed for the Racor CCV6000, CCV6001, and CV6001 Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) systems. It utilizes proprietary Vaporbloc coalescing media to remove oil contamination from engine bypass gases, protecting turbochargers, aftercoolers, and critical engine components from fouling and damage. The element features a die-cast aluminum head, glass-filled nylon construction, and a black powder epoxy-coated steel bowl with a 1/4" NPT drain port. It is rated for a maximum flow of 20 CFM (566 L/min) and supports engine ratings up to 800 HP (597 kW). Typical service life in diesel applications is 750 hours, varying with load profile, engine wear, and soot concentration. The filter provides 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 microns, ensuring superior oil coalescence and crankcase pressure control under severe operating conditions.
