SeaStar Solutions HC5348-3 Front Mount Hydraulic Steering Cylinder

The SeaStar Solutions HC5348-3 is a high-performance front-mount pivoting hydraulic steering cylinder engineered for single, twin, or triple outboard installations. It features a 8.34 cubic inch displacement bore, an 8-hole end-gland sealing system, and positionable stainless-steel ORB (-5) hose fittings for superior sealing and simplified installation. The cylinder is designed for independent engine tilt in multi-engine configurations and offers compatibility with SeaStar helm pumps and Power Assist systems. Constructed with marine-grade materials for corrosion resistance and durability in harsh saltwater environments, the HC5348-3 replaces the legacy Teleflex HC5348 cylinder. It supports applications up to 300 HP per engine for non-power-assisted steering, with dual counter-rotating engines up to 600 HP combined and triple engines (one counter-rotating) up to 900 HP combined at speeds up to 55 MPH. Service parts include the HS5157/HS5167 seal kit and HF5548 bleed fitting kit.
