The LR058306 is an electric tailgate lift support strut designed for the lower tailgate of Land Rover Range Rover L405 models produced from 2013 to 2021. The assembly integrates a 12V DC electric motor with a gas-charged spring cylinder to provide powered opening and closing assistance. The unit features a polymer PA66 housing with steel piston rod construction. It supersedes previous part numbers LR034399, LR050868, and LR104910, and is superseded by LR126174 and LR159598. The component is certified to ISO/TS16949 standards and offers an IP69K ingress protection rating for the motor assembly. Installation is direct replacement using existing mounting points.
