The LR172660 is a hydraulic valve control unit integrated with a variable valve timing (VVT) solenoid assembly. It manages hydraulic pressure to the variable valve lift mechanism on the Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium AJ200 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine. The unit mounts externally on the cylinder head and receives pulse-width modulated signals from the engine control module to adjust intake and exhaust valve timing phasing.
