Danfoss NV1-10 Needle Valve Cartridge

The Danfoss NV1-10 series is a screw-in cartridge style needle valve designed for precise flow restriction and shut-off in hydraulic circuits. It operates as a variable orifice allowing controlled flow in both directions (port 1 to 2 or port 2 to 1). Clockwise rotation of the adjustment knob or screw decreases flow until full closure is achieved. The valve is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 PSI) and a maximum flow capacity of 45 l/min (12 US GPM). It requires a machined C-10-2 cavity for installation. Standard aluminum bodies are rated for pressures up to 210 bar. Adjustment options include a black knob (K), red knob (R), or hex screw (V). The valve operates within a temperature range of -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C) and requires hydraulic fluid cleanliness per ISO 4406 18/16/13 or better. Formerly manufactured under the Eaton Vickers brand, current production is under Danfoss Power Solutions.
