The Solaxx Saltron Mini is a drop-in electrolytic chlorine generator designed for portable spas, hot tubs, and swim spas with water volumes up to 2000 gallons (7570 liters). The unit operates on low salinity levels ranging from 0 to 1000 ppm, significantly lower than traditional inline salt systems requiring 3500-5000 ppm. The electrolytic cell assembly measures approximately 1.3 inches (33 mm) in diameter by 6 inches (152 mm) in length, allowing direct immersion in the spa water without permanent plumbing modifications. The system converts dissolved sodium chloride into free chlorine via electrolysis, providing continuous sanitation with reduced manual chemical dosing. The power supply connects to standard 120V AC household outlets. The control module features indicator lights for power, salt level, and cell operation status. Maintenance requires periodic cell inspection and cleaning to remove calcium scale buildup on the titanium plates.
