The Hotstart TPS202GT10-000 is a thermosiphon-type engine coolant preheater designed for reliable cold-weather starting of diesel and gas engines. It operates on 240V AC single-phase power at 60Hz, drawing 8.3 amps with a 2000W heating output. The unit features a fixed thermostat calibrated to open at 120°F (49°C) and close at 100°F (38°C), maintaining optimal engine temperature without overheating. Constructed with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) tank housing for corrosion resistance and an Incoloy 800 sheathed heating element for durability, the heater withstands a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi (620 kPa). Fluid capacity is 0.42 liters (0.11 gallons) with 0.625-inch (15.9 mm) inlet and outlet ports for standard heater hose connection. The enclosure meets IP41 rating.
