This travel reduction gearbox assembly serves as the core mechanical reduction unit within the final drive system for Doosan Solar 340LC-V crawler excavators. It utilizes a multi-stage planetary gear train to convert high-speed, low-torque hydraulic motor output into low-speed, high-torque track propulsion. The unit is designed for direct bolt-on installation to the track frame and interfaces with the hydraulic propel motor (sold separately). Construction features forged steel planetary gears and a ductile iron housing engineered for high shock load resistance in 33-ton class excavation applications. Compatible with Doosan DE12TIS powered Solar 340LC-V and equivalent Daewoo Solar 340LC-V models.
