Parker Racor RK30880E Water-in-Fuel Detection Kit

The Parker Racor RK30880E Water-in-Fuel (WIF) Detection Kit is a complete water-sensor probe assembly with integrated detection electronics housed within the probe body. This design eliminates the need for a separate remote alarm module. The kit operates on 12 or 24 VDC systems and features a 1/2-20 UNF thread with SAE J1926 O-ring seal for direct installation into the water collection bowl of Racor spin-on series fuel filters (excluding 500MA and 500MAP models). When water accumulates to a level bridging the probe tips, the built-in circuitry triggers a ground signal to illuminate a dash-mounted warning light (included). The probe housing is constructed from glass-filled nylon for chemical resistance and durability in diesel fuel environments. The kit includes the sensor probe, detachable three-wire connector, warning light, and installation harness. It serves as a direct replacement for the earlier RK30880 probe and is widely used in marine, commercial truck, industrial, and bulk fuel storage applications.
