Atlas Copco MPV-25K-Y Minimum Pressure Valve Assembly

The MPV-25K-Y minimum pressure valve is engineered for oil-injected rotary screw air compressors rated at 22kW. It maintains minimum internal pressure in the air-oil separator tank during start-up and light-load operation to ensure proper lubrication oil circulation and prevent compressed air backflow. The valve features a spring-loaded check valve mechanism with stainless steel body construction and brass fittings. It opens at a set pressure differential (typically 3.5-4.75 bar) and achieves full flow at approximately 1.5-2 bar above cracking pressure. Maximum working pressure is 16 bar(g). Compatible with ISO 8573-1 Class 5 compressed air quality standards. Direct replacement for Atlas Copco part numbers 3002604880 (MPV Kit) and 1622052101 (Valve Assembly).
