The Sun Hydraulics CBCG-LDN is a screw-in cartridge style counterbalance valve designed for motion control and load holding in hydraulic systems. It features a 4.5:1 pilot ratio with an adjustable pressure range of 1000 to 2500 PSI and a standard factory setting of 2000 PSI. The valve fits the standard T-11A cavity and handles a rated flow of 15 GPM (56 L/min) with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI (345 bar). The 3-port non-vented design incorporates a check valve for free flow from port 2 to port 1 and a pilot-assisted relief valve controlling flow from port 1 to port 2. The floating style construction minimizes internal binding due to installation torque or cavity machining variations. Standard check valve cracking pressure is 25 PSI (1.7 bar). Seal kits are available for maintenance (Buna-N or Viton). Cross-references include OEM numbers from Vermeer, Snorkel, and Rexroth.
