Sun Hydraulics CWCK-LHN Counterbalance Valve Cartridge

The Sun Hydraulics CWCK series is a vented counterbalance valve designed to control overrunning loads in hydraulic systems. The valve features a check valve that permits free flow from the directional valve port 2 to the load port 1, while a direct-acting, pilot-assisted relief valve manages flow from port 1 to port 2. Pilot assist at port 3 lowers the effective setting of the relief valve at a rate determined by the pilot ratio. The floating body construction compensates for manufacturing tolerances and excessive installation torque in the mounting cavity. This screw-in cartridge valve is designed for integration into hydraulic manifolds and mobile hydraulic equipment requiring load holding and motion control functions.
