Sun Hydraulics CBEA-LHN Counterbalance Valve Cartridge

The Sun Hydraulics CBEA-LHN is a screw-in cartridge style counterbalance valve designed for pilot-assisted load holding and motion control applications. It features a 3:1 pilot ratio and standard capacity rating of 30 gpm (120 L/min). The valve fits the industry standard T-2A cavity and incorporates Sun floating style construction to minimize internal binding from installation torque or cavity variations. Maximum operating pressure is 5000 psi (350 bar) with an adjustable pressure range of 70 to 280 bar (1000 to 4000 psi). The integral check valve has a cracking pressure of 1.7 bar (25 psi). Maximum valve leakage at reseat is 5 drops per minute. Adjustment is via screw with 3.75 turns from minimum to maximum setting. The three-port configuration controls flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) with pilot assist at port 3. Constructed from carbon steel with Buna-N seals standard. Compatible seal kit part numbers include SK-6602 and 990202007. This valve serves as a direct replacement for JLG OEM part number 4641230 used in telehandler and aerial work platform hydraulic circuits.
